Char Siu, or Chinese BBQ pork, is one of the most popular pork recipes in Cantonese cooking. If you have been to Chinatown, I am sure you have seen glistening and perfectly roasted meats such as Chinese roast pork (siu yuk), chicken and duck hanging in front of the Chinese BBQ restaurants. BBQ pork belly char siu is the epitome of Cantonese BBQ.
Bahan Membuat Honey Pork Char Siu
- 250 gr Daging Babi (bagian kapsim).
- 1 sdt Angkak.
- 1,5 sdm Gula.
- 1/2 sdt Garam.
- 1 sdt Bubuk Ngohiong.
- 2 sdm Saos BBQ Lee Kum Kee.
- 1 sdt Kaldu Jamur.
- 1/4 sdt Lada.
- 3 sdm Madu.
- Bumbu Olesan.
- 1,5 sdm Madu.
Langkah Memasak Honey Pork Char Siu
- Cuci bersih daging babi lalu potong tipis memanjang..
- Rendam biji angkak dengan sedikit air panas selama 2 menit, lalu haluskan..
- Siapkan wadah dan campur semua bumbu jadi satu (angkak, gula, garam, bubuk ngohiong, saus BBQ, kaldu jamur, lada dan madu). Kemudian masukan potongan daging, aduk merata sambil ditusuk-tusuk dengan garpu, kemudian tutup wadah dan diamkan di dalam chiller/kulkas semalaman..
- Panggang daging rendaman dengan oven suhu 180 selama 30 menit. Keluarkan dan olesi dengan madu, lalu panggang lagi selama 10 menit. (Nampan oven sy dilapisi dengan aluminium foil)..
- Sisa bumbu rendaman jangan dibuang ya, bisa dipanaskan dengan teflon anti lengket sebentar untuk jadi saus cocolan..
- Keluarkan nampan panggangan, ambil daging dan iris serong tipis Daging char siu siap disajikan..
