I feel like carrot cake is a dessert most people tend to only make around Easter. But honestly, carrot cake is such an incredible dessert and I think it should be enjoyed all year long. Carrot cake is cake that contains carrots mixed into the batter.
Bahan Membuat Carrot Cake
- 3 buah (200 gr) wortel impor (me: blender).
- kismis.
- almond cincang.
- walnut cincang.
- pistachio cincang.
- Bahan A.
- 3 butir telur.
- 40 gr gula pasir.
- 85 gr gula aren (sisir halus).
- Bahan B (diayak).
- 180 gr tepung terigu.
- 1 sdm baking powder.
- 1 sdt soda kue.
- 1 sdt bumbu spekoek.
- 1/2 sdt kayu manis.
- 1/4 sdt pala bubuk.
- 1/4 sdt jahe bubuk.
- Bahan C (dicairkan).
- 100 gr butter.
- 50 gr margarin.
- Topping (buttercream).
- 150 gr mentega/margarin.
- 1 sachet skm.
- 50 gr gula halus.
- 75 gr keju parut.
Langkah Memasak Carrot Cake
- Panaskan oven 180c selama 10-15 menit.. siapkan loyang 20x20 diolesin margarin & dilapisi kertas roti.
- Mixer bahan A hingga mengembang (kecepatan bertahap hingga speed sedang).
- Kurangi kecepatan mixer secara bertahap hingga speed rendah, masukan bahan B secara bertahap.. matikan mixer.
- Masukan bahan C secara bertahap, aduk dengan spatula, pastikan teraduk rata (aduk lipat) & tidak mengendap.
- Masukan wortel yang telah di blender (bisa diparut), kismis, almond & walnut.. aduk hingga rata...
- Tuang kedalam loyang yang telah disiapkan, kemudian masukan kedalam oven, panggang selama 25-30 menit (tergantung masing-masing oven).
- Mixer bahan topping (kecuali keju parut) dengan kecepatan bertahap hingga speed tinggi selama 10-15 menit hingga mengembang & berwarna pucat.. matikan mixer secara bertahap, kemudian masukan keju parut & diaduk dengan spatula.. pisahkan 3/4 bagian adonan buttercream & dimasukan ke dalam wadah kedap udara, simpan di kulkas (chiller) bisa bertahan selama 1 bulan...
- Oles sisa bagian buttercream keatas carrot cake & masukan ke chiller selama 15 menit, kemudian potong-potong.
