Cendol has been declared a Malaysian heritage food by the Malaysian Department of National Heritage. Cendol is type of traditional dessert often served in Malaysia,Indonesia and parts of Singapore, Thailand and Burma. It consists of small green jelly-like noodles sweetened with palm.
Bahan Membuat Cendol
- 1 bungkus hun kwe.
- 20 lmbr pandan (blender,saring ambil airnya).
- 500 ml santan (kasih garam sedikit).
- 20 butir nangka (potong dadu).
- 1 bungkus cincau hitam (potong dadu).
- Gula aren (masak dgn pandan saring).
- Cetakan cendol.
- 2 ltr air.
Langkah Memasak Cendol
- Setelah air pandan sudah siap,siapkan wadah (panci) perbandingan hun kwe & air = 1:5 /1:4 (sesuai selera kekejalannya).
- Masak di api kecil sampai matang dan mengental (jgn berhenti untuk di aduk). Siapkan wadah diisi air bersih masukan adonan ke dlm cetakan lalu tekan didlm air yg sudah di sediakan.
- Setelah selesai dan dingin bisa di santap dengen cincau,nangka,santan dan es batu.
