Cendol has been declared a Malaysian heritage food by the Malaysian Department of National Heritage. Cendol is type of traditional dessert often served in Malaysia,Indonesia and parts of Singapore, Thailand and Burma. It consists of small green jelly-like noodles sweetened with palm.
Bahan Membuat Cendol
- 1 bungkus tepung hunkwe warna hijau.
- 4 sdm tepung beras.
- 200 ml air daun suji (dibuat dr 4lembar daun suji blender dg air hingga cukup 200ml lalu saring).
- 400 ml air.
- 1 sdt garam.
- 2 tetes pasta pandan.
- air es secukupnya untuk tempat jatuhnya cendol sudah jadi.
Langkah Memasak Cendol
- Campur tepung hunkwe + tepung beras, air daun suji, air, garam, pasta pandan. Masak hingga matang mengkilap.
- Siapkan wadah berisi air es dan letakkan saringan cendol diatasnya. Uang adonan cendol diatas saringan lalu tekan dengan sendok lebar hingga bulir2 cendol jatuh ke air. Lakukan hingga habis.
- Selesai.. cendol yg sdh jadi biarkan terendam air. Bisa dipakai untuk pelengkap minuman apa sj.
